Simon Sluga, who was a member of the Croatian national team from 2019 to 2022, was officially presented at his new club on Tuesday, signing for FC Celje, the former champion who wrote the history of Slovenian football in Europe last season. Sluga arrives in Celje after a rich career during which he defended the colors of clubs from Croatia, Italy, England, Bulgaria and Israel. He was once a reliable keeper in Rijeka’s net, and with good performances he achieved a transfer to Luton Town in 2019, and then defended for Ludogorec in Bulgaria. In the last campaign, he defended for Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
